The challenge
In sub-zero conditions breath moisture condenses on the inside of the tent and the shell, and thin mattresses lose heat to the cold base.
What we built
The configuration pairs a 300 g poly-cotton body with an inner insulation liner, an anti-condensation mat under the mattress and a thicker high-density foam mattress. Vents are positioned high to let moist air escape without creating draughts.
Result
A four-season specification that retailers can sell with confidence through the winter season.
